Whether you are a blogger or an entrepreneur, we all want mega growth in our businesses. We want to reach people.
There are a ton of things that we can do to grow our blogs and businesses but there is one thing that trumps everything else.
Genuine, authentic relationships should be the foundation of every marketing strategy.
In previous years, it was relatively simple to “pull the wool” over consumers’ eyes. Clients and customers are much more aware and can’t be easily “swindled”.
You have to give people real value, something worth their time and their money. Your audience wants to see who you are and what can you do for them. Being real and growing actual relationships will propel your business forward.
It’s for these reasons that people love things like SnapChat, Instagram stories, or the new Facebook stories. They like seeing the real people behind the perfectly curated profiles and excellently written blog posts. Giving people that glimpse of authenticity leads them to trust and eventually allows there to be room for relationship building.
