How to Tailor Your Social Media Content

How to Tailor Your Social Media Content

I’m guilty of it too. Creating an epic post on Instagram and sharing it to Facebook, Twitter, and everywhere else. But honestly, that’s not all that effective.

On today’s podcast, I am sharing tips to teach you how to tailor your social media content based on each platform.

Why is this even important?

How to Tailor Your Social Media Content

The key to reaching people and increasing your engagement on social media is to ensure that what you are posting there fits the personality of your audience and that platform.

A good example of this is the restaurant company Wendy’s. There was a time when Wendy’s was the most hilariously, savage account on Twitter.

15  Times the Wendy’s Twitter Feed Was the Most Savage

That was fitting for Twitter, so it worked. We see their accounts in other places, and it’s always different depending on the platform being used.

Knowing what to post on each platform will greatly affect the amount of engagement you will receive. If you are too serious or too over the top, your engagement will reflect that! Make sure your content not only fits your platform but those in your target audience.

Thank you for this episode….I’ve been working different strategies to utilize the social media platforms to see what works best for my Brand and it’s nice to hear that it’s ok to show different parts of my Brand on each platform

Great points! Personally, I know food and recipe photos do AWESOME on Instagram…but not so great on my Facebook page. Meanwhile my quote cards do better on Facebook than Instagram.
