The holidays are quickly approaching and my little Ayden is three months old! I am enjoying every moment of him growing and learning new things. Each of his firsts is as magical as the last. As his first Thanksgiving approaches, I can’t help but think about the fact that Christmas is not too far behind!
If you are like me and wondering what to get your little one for their first (or second) Christmas, then you are in the right place!
I know what you are thinking, are they even old enough to care? Probably not.
Baby’s first holiday is an important milestone. And it’s a moment and memory I intend to make as special as possible. So I have compiled a short list of my favorite toys perfect for baby’s Christmas!
There’s nothing like a good book. What about a book that never gets old! The VTech Musical Rhymes Book is an interactive, beautifully designed book perfect for your little one! It has easy to turn pages, twist and turn pieces, and piano buttons for baby to play with. There are numerous sounds, songs, and nursery rhymes that baby will love. It also lights up! This is a perfect toy for your little one this holiday season.
Fisher-Price Rattle and Rock Maracas Musical Toys are perfect for your little ones tiny hands! They are soft and easy to grasp. The colorful beads make rattle sounds that babies love! They are the perfect size to throw in a diaper bag to keep when you are on the go with baby.
Looking for an interactive bath toy that is also BPA free? The Nuby Octopus Hoopla Bathtime Fun Toy is that toy! Endless fun and also develops hand-eye coordination. This fun-colored octopus floats and comes with 3 rings. Some of the most fun I have with my children is during bath time. This toy is a perfect addition!
There’s no ball like the Sassy Developmental Bumpy Ball. It has bright colors that attract baby and help develop their vision. The bumps are easy for baby to grasp which is perfect for developing those little fingers and motor skills. This ball is a perfect, soft gift for your little one.
Your little one will love the VTech Baby Lil’ Critters Moosical Beads! This music toy has soft textures perfect for cuddling and tactile development, easy to grasp beaded and light up rings for fine motor skill development, and has plenty of phrases and songs to keep baby smiling for hours of fun! The size is perfect for play time at home or out and about.
The Fisher-Price Kick and Play Piano Gym gives your little one four ways to play! There are plenty of hanging busy toys for baby to reach for and music plays as your little one kicks the keys. I love how this product basically grows with your little one! It’s like a gift that keeps on giving.
I remember having my own Fisher-Price Little People See n’ Say Farmer Eddie Says as a child! Of course mine looked a tad bit different than this one. My oldest son had one as well. I am excited to get Ayden his own! I love all the animal sounds it makes. Hours of fun and also teaches your little one animal names and sounds.
The VTech Baby Lil’ Critters Roll and Discover Ball has beautiful bold colors and is super plush, which makes it perfect for baby! Perfect for crawling babies, it makes noises and plays music as it is moved and tossed around. It helps develop motor skills by introducing numbers and letters. The balls colorful tags and soft textures aid in tactile development.
Above all, give your little one the gift of the love this holiday season. Toys are definitely not a necessity. I know, as parents, we want to do nothing more than put a smile on our children’s faces on Christmas morning. Be sure to remind them of your love and the importance of family.
And if you are able, give back to those little ones who are less fortunate this season.
Be on the look out for more gift guides in the coming weeks! Are there any special goodies you have your eye on? I’d love to know!
